This article was written to talk about the progress that the Camerronian Government has made in providing internet usage in areas across the country where there was internet blackouts. These blackouts occurred on January 17, when internet went dead nationally, and later in the North-West and South-West regions of the country. Many of the affected areas primarily speak English, and there was widespread protests until the government finally acknowledged and repaired the outages.
I feel that the government of Cameroon is caring because the offered to repair a nation wide outage of personal internet services. Many companies would usually offer to help, but rarely are there any governments who help. The government of Cameroon is caring and helpful.
This article ties in political aspects of the country because since the government is a parliamentary republic, the people are represented well. The peoples' problems are acknowledged and fixed when needed. There was also some outrage at the beginning of the outage from protesters, but the government quickly responded with massive arrests. This outage caused widespread panic and problems in many sectors of its government and economy.
